It started in a garage in the late '90s, taking computers apart and putting them back together to see what made them tick. Before long he was building websites and rebuilding machines for anyone who would let him.
Then came the Navy: ten years as a Missile Guidance Systems Technician, including combat service. It is work where precision is not optional, and it left a simple rule behind. If it is worth building, build it right. If something is broken, fix it now, not next Tuesday.
After the Navy, Gill earned a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity and an Associate's in Network Administration, and put more than twenty years of hands-on IT into Gill's IT World.
Today he leads an enterprise security operations program and builds AI-assisted security operations tooling, where AI does the legwork of triage and evidence gathering and a person approves every action. Clients of Gill's IT World get that same approach, sized for a small business.
