Gills IT World LLC ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and your rights. It covers this website and our personal financial management features, which connect to your financial accounts through trusted providers such as Plaid.

This website

This website does not use advertising trackers, and it does not ask you to create an account. If you email us, or use the contact form (which opens your own email program), we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, business, email address and message. We use it only to reply to you and to provide the services you ask about.

Like any website, our hosting provider may process basic technical data, such as IP addresses and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse.

Information we access (financial features)

With your explicit authorization, we access financial account information through Plaid and similar providers, including account balances and details, transaction history, and liabilities (credit card and loan balances and due dates). We access this only after you connect an account and grant permission through the provider's secure authorization flow. We never see or store your bank login credentials; those are handled directly by the provider.

How we use your information

We use your financial information solely to provide the service to you, the account owner: budgeting, cash-flow tracking, net-worth calculation, bill and balance reminders, and related personal financial insights. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising or marketing, or use it for any purpose beyond the features you requested.

How we share information

We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate the service (for example, Plaid, which retrieves account data on your behalf under its own privacy policy). We may disclose information if required by law.

Data security

We protect your information using industry-standard controls: AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS in transit, multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access controls, endpoint detection and response, and centralized security monitoring. Access to systems processing your data is restricted to authorized personnel with a business need.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your financial data only while your connection is active and in use. You may disconnect an account or request deletion at any time; we delete it within 30 days of your request or of disconnecting the source, and we revoke the associated provider access token. Emails you send us are kept as ordinary business correspondence.
